Forget Battlefield 3, I'm more interested in Bejeweled 3.
Has anyone played BF2: Modern Combat on the PS2? That was my first BF game and I loved it despite it only being 24 players. I liked BF2 Conquest much more than BC2 Conquest so if BF3 is more like BF2 then I will be very happy.
Even if the full release of BF3 turns out to be shit(doubt it will), I will NOT be buying MW3. There's still RAGE and Skyrim to fall back on and I still need to get Deus Ex.

Am I the only one who found the gun sounds to be a little underwhelming. I'm not bashing the game at all, I really like what I've played of the beta. But it just seems to me that the sound was actually better in BC2. Just my opinion.
They weren't kidding when they said 'low-quality'.

@Supman Developers should take advantage of the PC's superior power.
How many times do we need to go over this.. MW3 will have the spot in SALES, while BF3 will have the top spot in QUALITY. END of story.
just play MW2, S.S.D.D.
Snap your MW2 disc in half. That should do it.
If there's DLC I want it to be full blown expansions and not little map packs unless it's free. IF they release an expansion with 4-5 new maps, new weapons, vehicles, and maybe new skins then I'd be willing to pay $15 for it. I'm sick of hearing devs say they're planning DLC before the game is even out. They're basically admitting to holding back content just to charge us later for it.

It's true that weapon degradation was really annoying and there wasn't much skill to repairing. But if repairing required the player to do a little mini-game then it would add more depth and be more challenging. For example, if you do the mini-game perfectly then you would repair the weapon/armor to 100% if not then it wouldn't repair it as much. And more advanced items would make the mini-game harder to complete.
I spot ALL the time on PS3. Sometimes I even try to spot AND parachute when playing CoD.
I'll be too busy playing this little game mode called Conquest...
My 40gb is trembling in a corner begging for mercy from this install.
